Which Is Better? Montego Bay or Negril?

We are planning to have a family vacation in Jamaica. Where do you think we should stay? Negril or Montego Bay?

Montego Bay and Negril are both great

Choosing which is better between the two is quite difficult because both are great places. For you to better enjoy your stay in Jamaica, why don’t you stay in both?

What will happen is that you will be arriving in the Sir Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and you need to travel for at least an hour to Negril.

What you can do is to stay your first few days in Negril and enjoy the beaches. After that, you can go back to Montego Bay, have fun with its duty free shopping, and see other attractions in the area.

Family Vacations Mexico and Caribbean

Hi I’ve been on four family vacations, two in Mexico and two in the caribbean. My family has been to Club Marival just south of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico we just had one child then. My daughter was 2 then and she just loved the little waterslide, that’s when we knew that places with waterslides is the way to go. The food was not only plentifull but also very good. Next we went to Jamica Boscobel, Beaches resort. That I have to say was the most family fun we had. The staff was incredible, the resort is secluded, gated with great secruity. By this time we had one child who was 3 and halve and one that was one and halve this resort is totally committed to chidren, hey if they are happy we’re all happy. They do offer free golf and have a great spa for us. Of cours they have waterslides and many children activities. Next we went to Ixtapa, Mexico Melia Azul a beautiful hotel. Yes waterslides and a very nice and large Fred Flinstone park, food was ok. Our last family vacation was to St. Lucia Coconut Bay Hotel nice size for me only 250 rooms so no mass confussion. Great waterpark two huge slides, a nice lazy river a little diappointing beach though. So far my oldest daughter is now six and has been to four nice destinations and my wife and I have a life time of memory’s, take them young cause when they get older they probably won’t want come with us, it won’t be cool, thats my reasoning anyway.

Jamaica- Great Food, Culture and People

I have been quite when my parents said that we are going to Jamaica. It was not the place I expected to go to since I wanted to visit France, Italy and Spain. I felt that those three countries are more interesting and have better things to offer.

But since my parents are paying for the vacation, I had no choice but to submit to their request. When we arrived in Jamaica, I said to myself, “Uh-oh! What am I doing here?” That was my reaction perhaps, because the place was quite laid back. But when we arrived in the resort in Montego Bay, my whole perception was changed. I was to thinking to myself, “best place ever!!!”

We stayed in Doctor’s Cave Beach Club. The place was really great! The food was great!!! Everything was perfect! It’s pristine waters was truly one of a kind. I have never seen such beauty.

I am definitely going back with my family!!!

Jamaica- A Great Place To Exlpore

My family have been to three islands in the Caribbean. First, we went to Antigua, Puerto Rico and Cayman Islands. We love the beach so every two years, we try to visit the beaches in the Caribbean.

Last March, we went to Jamaica to attend the wedding of my little sister. I was quite surprised that Jamaica is a great place. The wedding was breath-taking. From the exotic flowers up to the food and service, everything was worth every penny my sister and husband has paid for.

What we loved best is that the resort we stayed in offered a baby-sitting service. So when want to do some activities where kids were not allowed, all we needed to do was to leave our kids to the sitters.

Maybe some time next year, we will go back to Jamaica and explore the island more. We really loved the place.
