Scuba Diving

Scuba DivingOffering the most comprehensive scuba – diving program in the Caribbean at any family all inclusive resort is the Beaches Resorts. With top – of – the – line equipment, guests are treated to guided scuba dives at depths ranging from 30 to 90 feet.

Diving twice a day is what certified divers can do and a $70 three – hour resort course is what a non – certified divers can take, which is conducted in a separate scuba certification pool.

Optional Dive Programs just for kids, Beaches has also been created, including the Bubble Maker and Seal Team swimming programs for 8 – 9 olds, as well as the National Geographic “Passport to Adventure” PADI dive program for guests 10 years or older.
Also available for an additional charge are the Professional Association of Diving Instructors or PADI and National Association of Underwater Instructors or NAUI certifications.


Without having to scuba dive, guests who want to experience marine life and coral reefs up – close can enjoy any or all of the three to five snorkelling trips offered daily at most Beaches Resorts watersports locations.

Glass Bottom Boats Rides

While staying dry in a glass – bottom boat, guests can explore the mysteries of the sea and is available at most resorts.

Water skiing

Guests in Negril can try water skiing with top of the line equipment for the ultimate aquatic workout including Mastercraft ski boats, O’Brien skis and kneeboards. Provided daily are the water skiing lessons.

Guests can take off for a cruise aboard a Sunfish sail boat for the most relaxing way to enjoy the sparkling Caribbean water and Beaches Resorts watersports. In all properties, sailing lessons are offered.

Aboard a Hi – Fly “Spirit”, or “Nova” craft, or an O’Brien “Sensation” craft, guests can try their hand at windsurfing. Also available are “Fanatic” beginner boards and sails at most properties.

Kayaks are available at most properties for guests looking for a peaceful way to enjoy the Caribbean Sea.


Aquatrikes, over – sized tricycles that operate in the water are able to be ridden by kids or kids at heart at two – at – a – time.

Banana Boats

Pirate’s Island

The Pirate’s Island waterparks, offer fun in the Caribbean Sun, with water slides, lazy rivers, zero entry areas for toddlers and water cannons. With a zero entry area for toddlers, the waterpark also features a Pirate – themed kids’ zone.
