Oahu Trip- My Greatest Graduation Gift

I have just graduated from college and to be honest, it was a great relief. I never have to wake up early in the morning so that I wouldn’t be late to school. Well, at least for the time being, before I get a job.

To give me some time off and to enjoy for a while, my parents gave me my graduation trip- a trip to Oahu with my family!

I was really happy because I never thought that they would take so much effort to prepare for it.

We stayed at a luxurious hotel and ate our heart with with the Hawaiian delicacies. Of course, we did the sought after water sports activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling. We also did island hopping. It was the best experience in my life and it was great that I experienced it with my family.

      Hi Derek,

There is so much to do for kids in Oahu you will have trouble picking just one or two. If you look at our page for Oahu Family Vacations – at the bottom, click on the link for: Find more fun things to do with the family on OAHU Vacations! – you will see that the list of family attractions in Oahu is long.

For kids 10-14 years old I would probably recommend the Atlantis Submarine Adventure Waikiki and the Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. Any of the dolphin swims/watches are lots of fun too. If your kids surf or would like to learn how, that is a great way to spend a morning.

Girls will also really like the horseback riding tour and boys will probably want to do the Al’ii Ghost Tour.

      Enjoy Hawaii with your family,
      Jo

    Oahu Is The Best!!!

We’ve have our family vacation in Oahu and it was the best experience our family has ever had.

We got to see different attractions in Oahu such as the Polynesian Cultural Center,Sea Life Park, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park and many more.

Aside from that, who could ever miss the fantastic whale watching? My kids had a lot of fun when we saw the whales up close. Of course, we also had a close encounter with sharks. It was a bit scary but the place was totally safe for tourists like us.

Oahu is one of best places we have ever been to and we can’t wait to see more of the beautiful Hawaii when we go back there. Is there any other place in Hawaii that is worth visiting?

    • Maui Hawaii

You can visit Maui. They have a lot resorts and tourist attractions that are worth seeing such as the Molokini Crater and the Turtle Town. There, you can swim and scuba dive with your family. We took our kids there last year and they loved it.
