    Wedding in Portugal

My wife has always dreamed of getting married in Portugal. According to her, it is her way of tracing her roots as an American-Portuguese.

So, I gave her what she really wanted. After all, we are only getting married once. We had our wedding in the church and our reception in Algarve. It was a very beautiful wedding and reception. The weather was also great and everybody had fun.

The next day, we had the whole day doing fun-filled activities such as scuba diving, water-skiing and snorkeling. My nephews and nieces were ecstatic and seeing them happy was a great reward.

Of course, let us not forget my wife. She was all smiles and very happy because she got married to me in Portugal.

Thank You For Our Grand Stay In Portugal

Thank you so much for the information here in your website. Because of your website, my family and I were able to decide to go to Portugal.

Portugal is a very beautiful space. At first glance, you will know that you will have a great time, and we did.

We enjoyed the beaches and the resorts we went to. We did a lot of swimming, snorkeling and even scuba diving.Spell AWESOME!!!

Of course, the authentic Portuguese was totally delicious and something new to our taste buds. We loved it.

Now, I am looking for another destination that we can go to by the end of the year. Any suggestions? Thanks again… OBRIGADO (Thank You)

    In need of itinerary suggestion

    Hi –

We are first timers to Portugal going right before Easter for 7-9 days. We have a 6-year old and a 2-year old. With short time and young kids, we need to keep our itinerary short and sweet. Would love recommendations!

    Thanks.

    Clothing mandatory beaches in Portugal

I’m about to head off to Portugal and desperately need to find out from someone where there are beaches that are safe for someone that does NOT want to see nude bodies. There seems to be plenty of places for nudists to go but no where that I know of that I can go and not be exposed to nudity. I have severe PTSD and being exposed to nudity will completely destroy my vacation…which I’m attempting to do to relax.
I do not want to be in huge emotional pain while on vacation.

Vacations in Viana do Castelo, Portugal

I have a big people family living and working across Canada. As we like to be all together in the summer we use to rent a villa somewhere.
This year we went to Viana do Castelo, a great town in the North of Portugal, http://www.cm-viana-castelo.pt/.
We rented a big house nearby, Quinta do Bento Novo, a perfect house for big families http://www.quintabentonovo.pt/. We stood there for two weeks.
It is a big kind of historical yet modern, cozy house with six bedrooms, large gardens for children and a huge kitchen: perfect for us.
They have a lot of small yet important things to spend a wonderful vacations: great breakfasts with typical bread and natural orange juice, a large tank with a running natural source of water where children spent their days, free internet and safe parking, huge barbecues outside the house, and a lot of other things.
They even have a very good cooker which has prepared very good typical local meals for us.
Nearby there are a lot of great places to visit, Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Braga, Guimarães, a lot of historical cities of Portugal.
Besides all that the owners are really nice people!
